Comprehensive Podiatric Care, Inc. was founded by Dr. Seong Yoo and Jae Chung, CPC’s Chief Operating Officer, in 2019, believing that patients, particularly elderly patients confined to nursing facilities, deserve respect, dignity, and proper bedside care, regardless of their insurance status. We see ourselves as patient advocates.
This is more than obvious during the early days of the pandemic. When nursing homes started to restrict visitors, it became clear that our role as an outside practice could be severely impacted. We decided to reassure the facilities of our safe practices. Instead of seeing it as a door that is closing, we treated it as an opportunity to build trust and showcase our good intentions by providing complete Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) from head to toe for their employees and keeping them continuously apprised of our safety practices. This resulted in more contracts with nursing homeowners. We currently coordinate care for 1,000 beds, and they are growing.
